belt, Peter Salomon, keyboardist/vocalist, has performed
with numerous artists such as Billy Vera And The Beaters
and RCA recording artist Helen Schneider.
Peter has also performed with Dion & The Belmonts,
Chuck Berry and the Drifters, in person and on the album
Live At Madison Square Garden. He has toured with the Shirelles
and opened for The Charlie Daniels Band, The Marshall Tucker
Band and numerous other recording acts. Peter has appeared
on the Merv Griffin Show as well as local cable TV shows.
In addition to touring, Peter is also an accomplished songwriter
and arranger. Many of his collaborations have been with
lyricist Joe Droukas.
Their most recent project, a Christmas CD features two
songs co-written by Peter. The first song "It's a Wonderful
Life" is based on the classic movie starring Jimmy
Stewart. The other song, "Christmas is a State of Mind"
was written by Peter, Joe Droukas and Ernest Thompson, an
Oscar winning author and the director of the 1981 film ON
GOLDEN POND starring Katherine Hepburn, Henry Fonda and
Jane Fonda.
For over 15 years, Peter has been leading his own orchestra
with many variations. He provides some of the finest country
clubs in the tri-state area with quality musicians and DJ's.
Caribbean, Irish, Latin, Dixieland, Country and other styles
of authentic ethnic music are available. One can engage
a solo musician or a ten piece band, and any given number
or combination in-between. Whether you are planning a wedding,
corporate function or private party, we can accommodate
your needs. Versatility is a must therefore you, the client,
also have the option to choose the type of instrumentation
and style of music to be played.
